Jacob Griffin Hall is a poet and teacher living in Mid-Missouri. His work has appeared in 32 Poems, Black Warrior Review, New Orleans Review, Southern Humanities Review, and other journals. Jacob’s debut collection of poetry, Burial Machine, won the 2021 Backlash Best Book Award and is available with Backlash Press. His chapbook, CHIVO, won the 2025 New Michigan Press / DIAGRAM Chapbook Competition and is available with New Michigan Press.
