Jacob Griffin Hall is a poet and teacher living in mid-Missouri. His work has appeared in 32 Poems, Black Warrior Review, New Orleans Review, Southern Humanities Review, and other journals. He is the author of two chapbooks: CHIVO, winner of the 2025 New Michigan Press / DIAGRAM Chapbook Competition, and The Conditions, winner of the 2025 Quarter After Eight Summer Poetry Chapbook Contest. His debut collection of poetry, Burial Machine, won the 2021 Backlash Best Book Award and is available with Backlash Press.
